The Cockroach

The humble but awe-inspiring cockroach has joined our board!

It’s clear that even the most overlooked animals can inspire and teach us a great deal. Cockroaches have been around for more than 300 million years. To put that into perspective, in a day of cockroaches on Earth, we joined them with less than two minutes to go until midnight! There are more than 2500 species of cockroach, most of which play important roles in ecosystems as decomposers, recycling dead plant material and helping nutrients return to the soil.
