EarthSonic Local
EarthSonic Local is a project that has partnered with eight grassroots music venues across England, consisting of workshops designed to inspire and up-skill young people in climate change knowledge and music production.
Using local nature sounds to understand and tell the story of climate change and issues affecting loss of biodiversity, participants learn how to record, sample and archive sounds, with the opportunity to create, release and showcase new music.
The project culminates in live showcase events and a new album of selected tracks created during the project, released via the EarthSonic Label.
Recruitment for our 2026 programme has now closed.
