INTRACOMP
INTRACOMP is a three-year Horizon Europe research project (2025–2028) that uses participatory arts to promote social inclusion and strengthen cultural competence. Through a combination of artistic practice and research, the project supports the development of a transcultural competence framework, empowering learners, educators, and organisations across Europe and the Global South to challenge cultural hierarchies and drive meaningful social change through the arts.
The INTRACOMP consortium brings together 13 universities and arts organisations from across Europe, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea, creating a diverse and collaborative international network.
In Place of War leads on co-creative community interventions, contributing to both the research and capacity-building strands of the project. This includes supporting the development of the INTRACOMP Transcultural Competence (ITC) framework, as well as delivering training and mentoring opportunities for young people.
