#HACKMUSIC 2025

The #HackMusic Catalyst Programme brings together several of the music assets of In Place of War to help support grassroots, emerging organisations in areas affected by:

  • Conflict

  • Climate change

  • Social injustice

Through financial support, a pioneering education programme, equipment donations, mentoring and internships - the programme aims to utilise In Place of War’s global network to help these change-makers take their ideas and organisations to the next level and build sustainable futures.

2025 TIMELINE

  • 8 APRIL: Shortlisted organisations announced

  • APRIL - MAY: Equipment Allocated, Grants Distributed, Mentors Identified

  • 24 - 30 JUNE: Internships at Terminal 1, Glastonbury begin

  • 1 AUGUST: Industry Partnership Program Launches

  • SEPTEMBER: Global Music Advisory Board Members to vist projects

KEY ELEMENTS

  • Kickstarter Grants to support new ideas

  • An internship programme at Glastonbury’s Terminal 1 Stage

  • A pioneering education programme that develops robust & relevant models for sustainable, impactful organisations.

  • Equipment Donations from organisations such as Roland, Yamaha and Ableton

  • Mentorship from major music industry organisations and support from our Global Music Advisory Board.

CALL OUT FOR 2026 ORGANISATIONS

We are looking for 10 new industry partners for our 2026 #HackMusic programme!

In Place of War’s #HackMusic programme supports 4–6 grassroots organisations through small grants, equipment donations, mentoring & training, Glastonbury Festival internships (Terminal 1) and alumni connections & global visibility.
