Mission Statement

Centre for Performing Arts cooperates with like-minded organizations in its effort to:

Promote peace, justice and equality among all communities
Protect and nurture the rights and duties of children
Assist to heal the wounds of the war and the trauma of natural disaster
Create opportunities for intercultural exchange among Sri Lanka's regions
Eliminate social and gender discrimination and promote the rights of women
Identify and encourage artistes to be ambassadors of social peace and development
Target Groups

The primary focus of our activities continues to be children, youth and women. We maintain gender balance in all work; hence a significant number of our beneficiaries are female.
