"Brilliant project - hope it leads somewhere! Good to show what is possible through the visit to Newcastle. Good to hear the young people's voices - I hope someone listens who can do something, but I hope everyone here has heard what they are saying too. They need youth clubs etc, but also youth shelters outdoors so they can hang about with their mates somewhere that's not an old dangerous house or on a peace line where 'recreational' rioting is a temptation. "Well done to you all!! The tour was really interesting and definitely highlighted the fact that no-one talks to young people - never mind 'give you a future' people need to be giving you a 'now'. The derelict housing was horrendous (I would like to know more about how that came about and when it stopped being a community). The film was also excellent and posed some very challenging questions for our developers.
